On a rainy June day.

With Bodega Head in the distance. Dr. Bob Griffiths anchored his 50 foot ferro-cement ketch inside Bird Rock while waiting for daylight and the high tide to enter Tomales Bay. He had sailed from Hawaii to haul out at Marshal Boat Works. I met him there in the 1980's. His book "Blue water" is very much worth reading.

Her horse was a little nervous, so she jogged him around in a circle for a little while. He calmed down, he figured out that it was too much work to be nervous.

After 10 years of repair, using some old sails and single-handing. Nice bow wave. We had 4 110's out today.

Difficult to photograph as they seldom roost. Great insect eaters.

Rigged and ready to sail, after 10 years. That's my old main with a reef in and a small jib. He didn't go sailing however, too much wind and not enough water.
