Stuck

Unable to tack, a single-hander fetches up in some oyster racks North of the club. He was rescued about 3/4s of an hour later and towed back to I.Y.C. In this shot he can be seen over the port side trying to push himself out, that didn't work.

There still remnants of a chimney here at Whites Gulch. The family opened Marshall Boat Works and were successfuly building and repairing boats for many years.

Bird Rock on the left

With Bodega Head in the distance. Dr. Bob Griffiths anchored his 50 foot ferro-cement ketch inside Bird Rock while waiting for daylight and the high tide to enter Tomales Bay. He had sailed from Hawaii to haul out at Marshal Boat Works. I met him there in the 1980's. His book "Blue water" is very much worth reading.

To Halleck Creek Stables, who cater to special needs children and young adults. The smiles you see on downs syndrome kids while they're riding is something else, we went to donate some old "horse stuff". I would have taken more photos but I didn't want to make anybody self conscious.
