Drakes Bay Oyster Company, threatened by the National Park Service.

There is a hearing coming up on Jan. 25 to see if they can continue operations after March. 

The park service thinks they can creat a "wilderness" in a park that has over two million visitors a year, and thousands of kayakers that paddle around the estero each year. 

They (the park service) thinks the oyster farming operation is detrimental to the estero.
